What was refreshing was his approach; Garnet asked us questions about how we wanted to use the space, inquired about our lifestyle and primarily wanted an understanding of our requirements. Quite a refreshing contrast to other contractors who ‘told’ us what they were going to build for us.

This project focused on transforming the cottage into a cozy "home away from home" that was comfortable, brighter, and maintained its cottage-like charm. To accomplish this, we redesigned the space by eliminating dividing walls between living areas, installing larger windows with ample glazing, upgrading to a more modern kitchen, and implementing a comprehensive heating and cooling system.
The outcome is a luminous and spacious environment that seamlessly connects different areas while allowing abundant natural light to fill the space. It truly embodies the essence of a second home, preserving the laid-back and casual ambiance of cottage living.
