Project:
Young's Point Bigger and Brighter
Project Overview
Bring the second story deck into the living area...
The vision for this project was to capture an unused second story deck and bring it into the building envelope through an addition. This would create another bedroom and the space for a bathroom on the second floor. A secondary need was to remove the cedar shake cladding that had turned black over the years and bring this home back to its original, prominent glory.
Through significant engineering and the willingness of the home owner to make a bold color choice this home is truly a stand out in the area.
Living overseas and managing renovations presents unique challenges. However, Garnet updated us on a regular basis through email and photos and was always available to answer any questions. The end result of the renovation is absolutely beautiful. The workmanship & attention to detail is outstanding.
